About the
Millennium Academy of Art

There will be something for everyone in this Gallery. We display an eclectic mix of painting styles and mediums from contemporary & antique; figurative & abstract, landscapes, seascapes, poetry, portraits and still life – in the mixed medium of watercolour, oils, acrylic & photography etc.

The Academy will provide a platform for local and regional artists, schools and communities – to display and sell their work – in a gallery environment (that will be open for public and private viewings). Also on display, and for sale, will be paintings from renowned artists from the past.

The Academy will provide an opportunity to raise funds for the Millennium Centre Charity Appeal by taking a commission on works of art sold.

Situated within The Millennium Centre, St Helens, the Gallery will be open to the public every Sunday from 11.00 to 16.00. But if private viewings are required then by all means contact us to arrange a mutually convenient time and date.

New artists, schools, communities and photographers are always welcome to exhibit their work and show off their hidden talents to the People of St. Helens. If you are interested, then please get in touch via the contact page and leave your details for Kirsten Tebb.
